Job Description:
As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be a key player in expanding iContact Camera's B2B market presence through strategic partnerships and channel sales initiatives. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute our channel strategy, working closely with a network of resellers and partners to drive sales and ensure our innovative products reach a broader audience. This role is ideal for a dynamic and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and is excited about building out a channel program from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Channel Strategy:
Formulate and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with our growth objectives. Identify, recruit, and onboard new resellers and partners to enhance the company’s reach and market share.
Manage Relationships with Key Partners:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key resellers, partners and distributors such as CDW, Insight, SHI, and Ingram Micro. Ensure partners are well-supported, motivated, and equipped to effectively promote and sell our products.
Drive Sales Through the Channel:
Collaborate with partners to develop and execute joint business plans, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives. Work closely with resellers to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
Partner Enablement and Training:
Create and deliver training programs and resources to educate partners on iContact Camera products, value proposition, and sales techniques. Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
Monitor and Analyze Channel Performance:
Track sales metrics, monitor partner performance, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on channel sales performance and market trends.
Identify and Pursue New Partnership Opportunities:
Proactively identify new partnership opportunities to expand our reseller network and increase market penetration. Evaluate potential partners for their ability to add value and drive growth.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure alignment on goals, strategies, and customer needs. Provide partner feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B channel sales in unified communications or other hardware solution.
- Experience working in early-stage channel growth environments, with a track record of building and scaling channel programs.
- Proven success managing relationships with resellers and partners
- Strong understanding of the unified communications and video conferencing market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and adapt to changing priorities and strategies.
- Willingness to travel (25%) to meet with partners and attend industry events.
